A Little About Me...
As a young girl, I loved helping Mom in her busy kitchen,
where she prepared from-scratch meals
to feed her family of ten.
I caught from her the joy of caring for home and family,
gleaning satisfaction in laundry washed and folded,
beds made daily, meals cooked and cleanup done,
floors swept and mopped.
As a young missionary, I was given the task of
overseeing food service for our mission headquarters.
During those years living in a developing country,
I learned about basic ingredients and the art of
cooking-from-scratch in its most basic form,
creating the foundation for most everything that happens
in my kitchen -- from then until now.
Now that I am in the final third of my life,
it's my turn to pass on the baton of homemaking
to the next generation. My venues are
through classes in my home and Community Ed programs,
this website, and as Independent Advanced Director
with The Pampered Chef.
The "Proverbs 31 Woman" is my model,
together with my Mother and other incredible women
I have been privileged to meet in the journey of my life,
who have shown me the joys of homemaking.
