Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cheesecake

A recipe that combines two favorites:
Cheesecake and chocolate chip cookie dough!

Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cheesecake
When choosing your ingredients, use home-grown, grass-fed and organic ingredients whenever possible.
The original recipe is made in a 12" nonstick skillet.
Adjustments shown for a 10" nonstick skillet or Rockcrok Everyday Pan.
Ingredients:
12” Pan 10" Pan Ingredient
½ cup 1/3 cup Pecan or walnuts halves, coarsely chopped
2 lb 21 oz Your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough
16 oz 10 oz Cream cheese, softened
2 1 X-Large Egg
1/2 cup 1/3 cup Sugar
¼ cup 2 1/2 TBSP Flour
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Coarsely chop pecans using Food Chopper.

Divide chocolate chip cookie dough into three equal portions. Press two portions of the dough into the bottom of 12” Executive Family Skillet (or Rockcrok Everyday Pan). Crumble remaining dough into Small Batter Bowl. Add pecans, mix lightly and set aside.

In Classic Batter Bowl, whisk cream cheese until smooth. Add egg(s), sugar and flour, whisk until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough in pan. Sprinkle pecan mixture evenly over filling.

Bake 30-32 minutes or until topping is golden brown and center is slightly puffed.

Meanwhile, place chocolate morsels in micro-cooker. Microwave, uncovered, on high 30-60 seconds or until chocolate is melted and smooth, stirring after 20-second interval. Drizzle melted chocolate over tart.

Serve slightly warm or at room temperature with ice cream, if desired.
Garnishes:
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Fresh Strawberries for garnish (optional)
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Simple to make, simply delish!
